2 Nights / 3 Days: "MacKenzie Country" Garden city, lakes & mountains Christchurch - Oamaru - Waitaki Valley - Omarama - Mt Cook - Depart Christchurch Day 1:Welcome to Christchurch, gateway to the beautiful South Island of New Zealand. Your coach driver will meet you at the airport and after transferring to your hotel take you on a pleasant sightseeing tour around this 'Garden City'. Relax and enjoy punting the pretty Avon River meandering peacefully through the city, browse around the arts centre, enjoy an historic tram ride, a visit to the beautiful botanical gardens or the Antarctic Centre. Day 2:Today we depart Christchurch driving south through the seaside resort of Timaru, set on Caroline Bay and then into historic Oamaru, famous for its 'whitestone' buildings. After a lunch stop, take a scenic drive up the Waitaki Valley hydro-power scheme. As we follow the Waitaki River you will see the beautiful Lakes Aviemore & Benmore before arriving in Omarama for the night. Day 3: From Omarama we drive into Mt Cook National Park to admire the majesty of New Zealand's highest peak, named as "Aoraki" (the cloud piercer) by the Maori; optional flight-seeing into this awesome scenery. We return via Lakes Pukaki & Tekapo and arrive back in Christchurch to set down at the airport for your onward evening flight.
2 Nights / 3 Days: "Top of the South" Beaches, bays, an alpine crossing & garden city Picton - Nelson - Greymouth - Arthur's Pass Alpine crossing (train option) - Christchurch Day 1: Your coach driver meets you in Picton on your arrival from Inter Island Ferry. From this pretty little port we take a scenic drive around the beautiful bays of Queen Charlotte Sound on our way to Nelson, NZ's art & craft centre. Day 2: From Nelson we set off through native and exotic forests down to the scenic Buller Gorge and on to the West Coast at Greymouth. In the afternoon you will take a spectacular tranz-alpine coach or train journey over Arthur's Pass. Arriving down on the other side of the Alps into the Canterbury Plains we stop in Christchurch for night two. Day 3: This morning enjoy a pleasant sightseeing tour around this 'Garden City'. Relax and enjoy punting the pretty Avon River meandering peacefully through the city, browse around the arts centre, enjoy an historic tram ride, a visit to the beautiful botanical gardens or the Antarctic Centre. You are then transferred to the airport for your onward flight.
3 Nights / 4 Days "Southern Highlights" Garden city, alpine splendour, Scottish heritage and wildlife treasures Christchurch - Mt Cook - Queenstown - Dunedin - Christchurch Day 1: Welcome to Christchurch, gateway to the beautiful South Island of New Zealand. Your coach driver will meet you at the airport and take you on a pleasant sightseeing tour around this 'Garden City'. In the afternoon continue on into the Mackenzie Country. Along this scenic drive view the Church of the Good Shepherd and the sheep dog statue at Lake Tekapo. We continue on alongside Lake Pukaki into the heart of Mt Cook National Park where we stop for the night. Day 2: Today you have optional flight seeing to get in close to the awesome alpine scenery before we set off south into the Southern Lakes district. We pass through the Fruitlands district of Cromwell then the Kawarau Gorge arriving at the famous original Bungy Bridge, then historic gold-mining village of Arrowtown. Following around the postcard favourite Lake Hayes, we arrive into the majestic alpine village of Queenstown set beneath the mighty 'Remarkables' mountain range and on the shores of beautiful Lake Wakatipu. Day 3: We set off through the farming & fruitland region en route to the historic Scottish city of Dunedin, built from the wealth of the 19th century Otago gold rush. On arrival we take a sightseeing tour out onto Otago Peninsula wildlife reserve. This drive offers spectacular harbour & ocean views and an optional visit to Larnach castle, NZ's only Castle set high on the hilltop. At famous Taiaroa Headland visit the only mainland albatross colony on earth, home of the 3-metre wingspan Royal Albatross and the rare little yellow-eyed penguin colony. Day 4: A morning tour of this pretty city takes in the world's steepest street, Baldwin St, NZ's oldest University of Otago, inspiring Churches, a grand old railway station, Otago Boys high school & Olveston stately home. Depart northwards through historic Oamaru, famous for its whitestone buildings, the seaside resort of Timaru and onto Christchurch to connect with your onward flight.

Day 4: Today we tour the magical alpine village of Queenstown set on Lake Wakatipu and beneath the awesome "Remarkables" mountain range. We visit the postcard favourite of Lake Hayes, the original Bungy Bridge, historic gold mining town of Arrowtown and the famous Shotover River gorge for jet boating. Back in Queenstown there are options of the Skyline Gondola ride and the historic Earnslaw steamship ride across Lake Wakatipu to Mt Nicholas High Country Sheep Station. Day 5: Depart Queenstown through MacKenzie Country Lakes district, past the Lake Pukaki lookout to Mt Cook and the Church of the Good Shepherd at Lake Tekapo, then onto Christchurch airport for your onward flight.

Here experience a spectacular boat cruise out through the Fiord, beneath towering Mitre Peak and alongside sheer cliff faces and thundering waterfalls. In the afternoon return to Te Anau and continue up to Queenstown for the night. Day 5: Today we tour the magical alpine village of Queenstown set on Lake Wakatipu and beneath the awesome "Remarkables" mountain range. We visit the postcard favourite of Lake Hayes, the original Bungy Bridge, historic gold mining town of Arrowtown and the famous Shotover River gorge for jet boating. In the afternoon we continue on into the MacKenzie Country Lakes district arriving in the heart of Mt Cook National Park for the night. Day 6: Today you have optional flight-seeing to get in close to the awesome alpine scenery before we set off north where you'll see the Church of the Good Shepherd at Lake Tekapo, then onto Christchurch airport for your onward flight.
